What Information Is Displayed in the Substitution List?
Medicines with the same substitution group code are substitutable with each other. The list is organized by ATC code, medicine name, manufacturer/importer, pharmaceutical form, strength, item number, package size, and substitution group code, but it does not include price information.

Disclaimers
Medicines with marketing authorization are included in the list regardless of whether the holder is actively marketing the product or not. This also applies if the holder has requested the wholesaler to delist the product, but it has not been deregistered with NOMA.
Marketing status may be updated without it being reflected in the lists.
Definitions related to marketing status
- Can be priced: The product has approved marketing authorization and packaging in Norway.
